Credit(s):3 This course in policing examines current policing policies and strategies for intervention. The course will cover community policing, problem-oriented policing, hot spots policing, crime prevention, and police brutality, among other topics. The course will explore social and economic conditions that lead to criminal activity, attending to inequities among minority groups. Prerequisite(s):CRJ 100
