CDS 572 - Interprofessional Collaborative Seminar Credit(s): 1 This course will prepare the student to analyze case studies of complex learners including those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, with multiple diagnoses, those who use augmentative communication, cochlear implants, hearing aids and other assistive technology, and participate in early intervention, and in inclusive educational settings. Students will demonstrate knowledge of evidence based interdisciplinary collaboration, family-engagement, analysis of learner needs with respect to the general education curriculum, the use of technology to facilitate participation in the classroom, and methods of assessing learner outcomes.
