CIS 425 - Digital Forensics and Analysis

Covers the technical and legal issues facing digital forensic examiners. Students will learn effective and appropriate forensic response strategies to support cybercrime investigative efforts, and to assess and manage risks. The focus is on acquiring the skills needed to identify and collect potentially harmful digital evidence from computers and mobile devices, to analyze that evidence using chain of custody methods and to report forensic findings.
