The certificate provides a solid foundation in cybersecurity and is designed with someone who has knowledge of a programming language but with little background in cybersecurity.

Courses Required for the Certificate (12 credits)
Level 1 Certificate (12 credits)
Designed for a person with 2 or more years of experience in the IT field with little or no experience in cybersecurity. Level 2 Certificate (12 credits)
Designed for a person with 2 or more years of experience in the IT field with some experience in cybersecurity. Four 300 or 400-level cybersecurity major CIS courses, one of which may be a general computer science course that is a prerequisite or co-requisite for a specific cybersecurity course. |
