				The general studies major with emphasis in psychology offers students a path to graduation that combines generalized study with some disciplinary focus, leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree. General studies majors with an emphasis in psychology are advised by faculty in the department of behavioral sciences. 
Major Requirements Include
	- Students must have a minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale from all colleges/universities attended for acceptance into the major. Students must maintain a cumulative Fontbonne GPA of at least 2.0 to remain in the major and for graduation.
 
	- Residency, major, general education, and graduation requirements as described in the Fontbonne University Catalog.
 
	- A minimum of 18 hours of course work in psychology
 
	- 15 hours of electives, chosen in consultation with a faculty advisor
 
	- A senior capstone course, consisting of a 300 or 400 level course in psychology, selected in consultation with the student’s academic advisor and the chair of the department.
