The major in religious studies offers students a strong liberal arts education and a thorough grounding in the field of religion. Students are encouraged to complement the major with at least a minor in another discipline, e.g., human services, history, literature, psychology, depending on their interests and future career orientation. Some upper division courses are taken at Saint Louis University.
