Credit(s):3 Study of counseling strategies for working effectively with children, parents, and families. Communication skills and the processes of balancing competing priorities among parent, child, home, and school will be a focus of the course. The effect of exceptionalities upon the student, his/her parents, and siblings will also be addressed. FA Prerequisite(s): Junior status.
