EDU 339 - Middle School Philosophy, Curriculum, and Instruction

This course will present the philosophy, history, structure, and future direction of the middle school. Students will explore the characteristics of the middle level student, curriculum options, special needs students, the culturally diverse population in the middle school, the role of the teacher, and home and community aspects. Prerequisite(s): EDU 269 or consent of instructor; junior status.
