EDU 333 - Multi-sensory Methods for the Elementary Classroom

This course will allow students to understand and develop strategies for addressing the wide diversity of learning styles which they will find in contemporary classrooms. Multiple Intelligence theory will be introduced, to include best ways to meet the needs of students who might be artistically, musically, kinesthetically, or otherwise motived. Other theories and frameworks will also be addressed, to include Universal Design for Learning, Differentiated Instruction, Problem-Based Learning with Technology, and strategies to include English Language Learners.
