CDS 101 - Survey of Communication Disorders

An introductory survey of the speech, language, and hearing components associated with the processes of typical and disordered communication across the life span. The course covers issues including awareness of and advocacy for people with communication disabilities, consideration of multi-cultural issues in differentiating difference from disorder, and a mindfulness of the challenges people with communication disorders face in everyday interactions.
