CDS 334 - Audiology and Aural Rehabilitation for the SLPA

An overview of the anatomy & physiology of the ear, causes and types of hearing impairments, and the habilitative and rehabilitative services offered to children and adults with hearing loss. Emphasis will be placed on the role of the speech-language pathology assistant in implementing treatment under the guidance of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
Prerequisite(s): CDS 110 , CDS 210 , CDS 225 .
