MTH 405 - Principles of Cryptography

Introduces the fundamentals of cryptography including the concept of obscuring functions, cryptographic techniques, types of ciphers, proper use of cyphers, ethical uses of cryptography and decryption practices. Topics also include randomness, polymorphism and current trends in cryptography. FA (Even).
Prerequisite(s): CIS 225 (only required for cybersecurity majors) and MTH 120 .
