CIS 170 - Visual Programming Credit(s): 3 Introduction to visual programming using Windows-based packages. Exploring tools and utilities of Windows graphic user interface and multimedia capacity, such as menus, buttons, and other controls. Topics also include using object-linking and embedding, dynamically-linked libraries, dynamic data exchange, and Internet-related applications. Lab exercises include language syntax and coding, data structures, links and controls, parameter passing. Offered as needed. Prerequisite(s): CIS 160 or consent of instructor.
