CTE 516 - ESOL Practicum II

In a middle or secondary practicum setting, this course will offer a case study approach to the development of practical, appropriate strategies and interventions with ESOL individuals after identification of strategies appropriate for the individual. A supervised practicum of 40 hours working with a middle or secondary student is required. Data collected will be translated into teaching prescriptions. Practicum students will develop a PowerPoint or video presentation to assist educational colleagues in the development of effective strategies with ESOL middle or secondary students. ON SITE: TBA
Prerequisite(s): CTE 512 , CTE 513 , CTE 514 .
