CIS 511 - Cloud Computing and the Internet of Things

Provides the student with skills and techniques to combine the two technologies of Cloud Computing and the Internet of Things (IoT). Challenges that arise when IoT meets Cloud will also be covered. While IoT is exiting on its own, the real innovation comes from combining it with cloud computing. This course will focus both on the development of smart embedded devices using popular hardware platforms as well as Cloud solution deployment by utilizing services by leading providers.
