FCS 485 - Public Policy and Advocacy in FCS Credit(s): 3 Critical examination of current family and consumer sciences public policy initiatives and the role of professional advocacy. Students will explore strategies to promote individual well-being, family strengths, and community vitality. Students will develop and execute public policy or regulatory advocacy plans that seek to empower others. This course is designated as WI by the university. FA SP Prerequisite(s): FCS 340
