Credit(s):3 A bio-psychosocial approach to the study of addictions. This course offers an overview of addictions including definition, drug use patterns, and treatment needs among diverse populations, strategies in screening, assessment, and treatment. Current research, ethics, health promotion, and prevention will be integrated throughout the course. SP Prerequisite(s): Junior and senior status.
