ESL 061 - Beginning Reading for Non-Native Speakers of English
Credit(s):3 This course provides practice in using various reading strategies to improve reading proficiency in English. Students will develop their ability to read descriptive, narrative and non-fictional materials more fluently. Students will use scanning and skimming skills, expand vocabulary, identify main ideas, and comprehend specific facts and inferences.
