PSY 450 - History and Systems of Psychology


Credit(s): 3
This course examines the history of psychology as a discipline and profession. Consideration is given to the historical contributions of philosophy, physics, and physiology to the field of psychology. The course also examines problems and research methods that comprise modern scientific psychology. The various schools and systems of thought in psychology are examined through the study of historical zeitgeists. Check semester listings.
Prerequisite(s): PSY 100 ; six additional credit hours of psychology.
